Month 2-Part 2 of Sleigh Bell BOM

I finished the "Sashing Blocks" for month 2 and as promised, I am post photos of the block and a portion of row 1.

Sashing Block - 4.5" x 10.5"

Sleigh Bell Block of the Month (BOM)

10.5" x 10.5" - Block and Frame

This block is the second month of the Sleigh Bell BOM.  I loved piecing this block together.  It was fun because it is a "Scotty Dog."   The dimensions of the block are 8.5" x 8.5" but with the frame, it is 10.5" x 10.5".  

In addition to just sewing this block, we were given enough fabric to make the vertical sashing.  I will post of photo of those blocks when I finish sewing them together.

Month 8 - River Rock BOM

Block "B" - 20.5" x 20.5"

Block "A" - 13" x 13"

Spacer 9 - 8" x 13"

This BOM is really easy to very simple to sew together.  The instructions and illustrations are simple and easy to follow.  I've enjoyed it immensely.  I believe that there are 1-2 months left and I am really looking forward to sewing it all together into a quilt.

Month 13 - Flock of Feathered Stars

Five more months to go.  This BOM will be finished.  I can't wait, the blocks in this quilt are amazing!

This month's block is called:  Feathered Star No. 6.  The next four months, we will sew 12" x 12" blocks and the final month make a 24" x 24" block.

There are forty-eight total border blocks to make.

So far, I have made thirty-nine of forty-eight blocks.
