I fell behind last month because of my oldest daughter's lovely wedding. I tried to catch up but I decided to re-organize my fabric stash first. I joined Jo's Little Women Club earlier this month at my local quilt shop, The Fabric Garden. I had to separate my Civil War reproduction fabric from the other fabric in my stash.
I just finished month #6 of Threads of Time this morning. The four blocks that were made for this month are called "Magic Triangles." I thoroughly enjoy sewing the blocks of this BOM because they are simple. The only part of each month's project that I don't really enjoy is to make approximately forty flying geese. I have included a photo of the four blocks below and forty-four flying geese.

My daughter's wedding.
This past Saturday, May 2, my oldest daughter, Erin Fong wed August Zajonc. The wedding took place at Longview Ranch on Pine Mountain in Cloverdale, California. The wedding was wonderful and over 70 people were in attendance. August's family is from back east: Massachusetts, Florida and Washington. My family and my husband's families live in the Bay Area. Our immediate families were invited and attended. It was truly great to have our families there to witness this wonderful union.
